The Navtex system divides the globe into 16 regions, each of which contains a number of shore stations.
The Navtex system divides the world into 16 regions, each region contains a number of shore stations, which transmit Navtex messages in the corresponding time slots according to the protocol, usually every 4h for each station.
In general, each station transmits every 4h and one transmission lasts for 10min, which ensures that there is only one Navtex message for each time slot in any region.
This ensures that there is only one station transmitting in each time slot in any one area, effectively avoiding interference between stations.
